I often get daunted going solo but the people were so nice! A wode menu with loads of veggie and meat options. Their falafel are delicious!! And they don't stock horrid coca cola products they have Yaffa Drinks instead (Palestine cola etc) Will come back every time I'm in Newport! ♥️- Food

I tried this restaurant for the first time today and was thoroughly impressed. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and served with genuine kindness and hospitality. It made for a memorable dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Really delicious takeaway shawarma box with generous portions. The spicy sauce was a great match too, perfect for a quick meal in the area.

First visit table for two. Intimate setting meant the owner was attentive. Wasn't rushed to eat and leave. Food was lovely good sizes and manageable. We ordered the grilled haloumi cheese, classic koshari and kebda eskandarini all dishes were lovely. We also had Arabic coffee and Cairo karak tea which completed the meal. To top it off we had the mint tea aswell. 😃 Thank you.

I had the koshari and falafel, which was very tasty. The staff were friendly. I liked the authentic music, although very fast-paced and hectic when if you're trying to eat slowly! I also like the fact you get to eat with proper crockery and cutlery as opposed to single-use ones.

Excellent food, all the food was special and the Koshari was the best I have tasted so far. I also loved the atmosphere with the classic Egyptian songs you feel you’re sitting in a cafe in Cairo. We were also offered a lovely pot of Egyptian tea on the house and really enjoyed it. I highly recommend this place and would definitely visit again.

Lovely little place, food is delicious, fresh. Everything is clean. Quick service. Not expensive, the portions are decent, we had 1 meaty koshari, taamiya falafel, bread, mango juice , paid about 17£ and it was enough for two very hungry people😅

101Can you confirm which dishes are suitable for Vegans?
Quite a lot! In the bites section everything apart from Halloumi Cheese and Kebda Skandarani . Sandwiches : Falafel, Aubergines, and Foul are suitable. Our Classic and Veggie Koshari bowls as well as the Humus bowl are also vegan. You can always speak to us when you visit to double check on any items
